Warped Brewing Company will produce craft ales in a custom 10 barrel brewhouse. "We began by picking fresh bay leaves in backyards and along the roads of Sonoma County... hence the name". In 2005 the company moved from the fresh herb market into drying the wild-crafted leaves in small batches, sorting by hand for quality and selling the final product wholesale. California Bay trees are native to the west coast of the continental United States and Gypsy Bay Laurel is dedicated to using sustainable harvest practices to produce a very special culinary herb with a full, spicy aroma and lovely emerald green color. In the future Gypsy Bay Laurel plans to develop dry herb rubs using their leaves in combination with other locally grown herbs for retail sale at their Barlow site.
